In the words of my 9 year old daughter..."WOW WOW WOW!. Since it is the first time I use this company and my first time staying at Storey Lake in Orlando, Im making it my personal agenda to give a thorough review of this property and my stay. I am not in the business of giving random 5 stars to Hotels I stay-in just because I got an extra towel or bottled water. To "me", each star has a meaning... 1: Customer Service, 2: Pricing, 3: Accommodation 4: Location and 5: Facilities and Amenities.
-Facilities and Amenities- STAR #1
From the moment you pull into this neighborhood, you're immediately immersed in this Caribbean infused feel with a contemporary twist that just sets the mood for your vacation. Upon arrival to the security gate, you will be greeted with a warm "Welcome Home" that just lets you know what kind of service you will receive throughout your stay. Aside from the ongoing construction on some sectors within the neighborhood, you can rest assured that you wont be wakened by a drill or hammer during your stay. The neighborhood boasts beautiful green landscapes and lakes with immaculate kept grounds. If you want the "Disney World" feel, you will surely find it here as this place closely resembles Disneys Contemporary and the Villas at Bay Lake Resorts. From the pristine pools to the amazing water park located within the Storey lake community, this was an awesome addition to our stay here. not alot of parking available so be sure to arrive in one car if possible on a busy weekend.
-Location- STAR #2
This is by far one of the closest resorts to the Disney parks you can get without having to succumb to the ridiculous resort prices. EVERYTHING is close by... Publix is 2 min, Walmart 5 min, Outlets 6 min, Disney World Entrance 4.2 miles, Lake Buena Vista 8 min, etc. Everything you want and need is within a distance where you don't have to flip a coin with your wife to see whose driving. YES its thats close!.
-Accommodation- STAR #3
This house was a great example of some of the best design and architecture I've seen yet. The home is absolutely stunning as you pull in to the driveway. But you are immediately second guessing yourself asking "are there really 8 rooms in here?" Well YES THERE IS! 5 King beds, one room with 2 Queens, Marvel room with a Full bed and a twin, Princess room with a Full and a Twin. This is aside from the Theater Room and Game room!, The layout of the home is perfectly balanced and spaced so the home does not feel crowded and overwhelming. The Kitchen had everything we needed, the pool was an amazing addition after a hot day in Disney (heating is available upon request). All bathrooms came equipped with toiletries but if your stay is long and you have personal preferences, bring your own (alot easier that way). Beds were pillow topped and very comfortable. they provided 2 different types of pillows, one was super soft the second was a little stiffer. If you have a specific preference, you will have to bring your. My wife is very picky about pillows and she loved them.
-Pricing- STAR #4
I wont disclose what I paid because timing will determine what your cost will be during the year. but I will say that I have stayed in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort during the same time I stayed on this property and paid TRIPLE the amount for only 2 queen beds!. Though some would say "youre staying on Disney property" (which is true), I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that for 1/4 of the price I got 5 King beds, 2 Queens, 2 Full beds, 2 Twin beds, My own Pool, A Theater and Game room!? there is really no comparison when you have a large family and you want to keep the cost down... its a no brainer here folks.
-Customer Service- STAR #5
This subject alone sometimes (and I mean always) determines whether you will return to a property or not. No matter how beautiful the property is or how beautiful the home, it is this star that often tips the scale over when deciding to stay at any property. To me (and all vacation properties owners), it is BY FAR the most important. How people greet you, treat you and care for your needs is a great way of knowing the outcome of your vacation. Executive Villas Florida along with Storey Lake property, far exceeded my expectations. I cannot count the amount of times I called in for questions on the property and was always treated with grace and respect. Everything leading up to the day of arrival was executed exactly as they described on the initial email sent. upon entering the home, there is a binder that contains every bit of information on the home as well as the area around you (names and numbers of nearby stores, maintenance help phone numbers, etc..). they literally took the guess work out of everything, that is priceless.
I hope I was thorough enough and I wish I could go into further detail of how amazing this vacation was and how EVF made this one to remember. But its alot easier when you experience it on your own.
On my travels I'm always asked "what your definition of a vacation?"... Not having to worry about anything, because they took care of it. Thank you Executive Villas Florida.
